"Messers Husdon and Easther submitted for sale, at the Town Hall, Levin on Saturday, 43 business and residential sites in what is known as Petersen's Estate. Only five sections remained unsold. Prices for sections fronting Oxford Street ranged from 6 pounds 17 shillings and 6 dimes per foot to 4 pounds 10 shillings per foot, and other sections from 70 - 40 pounds."
