Penciled on back: “Miss D.W. Pillar, Salisbury St., who has made her home the collecting depot for newly made quilts and childrens’ clothing, which will be collected by Corso shortly and sent to an overseas orphanage. Fri. Oct. 31 1969.”

Miss D.W. Pillar examines clothing for a collection for Corso, 1969. Miss Pillar made her home the centre for the collection which was later sent to an overseas orphanage.
