This is a Female Eclectus Parrot, they are native to Indonesea and both sexes have stunning colours. The females are red and purple and the males are bright green and blue with a bright orange beak!

This is a very cheaky African Grey.

African Grey Parrots are conidered to be intellegent talking parrots. Unlike other parrots, wild African Greys have been documented imitating the calls of serveral other species. African Grey's have been tested using rigourous scientific standards, and are classed alongside the most intellegent animal species. Dr. Irene Pepperberg's extensive research with captive African Greys, famously with a bird named Alex, has scientificly demonstrated that they possess the ability to associate human words with meanings, and to intelligentlty apply the abstract consepts of shape, colour, number, zero-sence, etc. According to Pepperberg and others, they preform many cognitive tasks at the level of dolphins, chimpanzees, and even a human toddler.
