American tourists led by John Bloomfield of Eagle Connections, Marlborough, visit Lake Papaitonga with Muaupoko people led by Jim Moses and Marokopa Wiremu-Matakatea on 14th October 1999. Mr Moses is in the centre of this photograph and is leaning on a stick.

Native bush is on both sides of a one lane track. Information on reverse of photograph indicates that this is a local photograph and the location is either on Gladstone Road before the road was widened or the southern curve of the loop of Wallace Road, Ihakara
