Mrs Burdekin (former Mayoress) has a light outfit with a fox-fur over her right shoulder. She has a dark hat with a turned back brim and a floral spray on her left lapel. Miss Bowen is partly obscured by the table centerpiece, but is wearing an outfit with a fur collar which comes up to her ears. She has a small hat with a veil perched on top of her head. She is wearing a hat with a turned back brim and a small feather. Mrs Lett is at the right of the photograph, and is wearing a black jacket over a dark coluored dress, and a black hat with a flower on one side. Mrs Lett’s jewellery includes pearl drop earings, a single strand of pearls at her throat, a heavy bracelet on her left wrist, a large diamond and precious stone ring on her left ring finger, and a pearl ring on her right ring finger.
