Penciled on back - 2 gold stars of the Sth Pacific which were awarded for roses judged at the N.Z. international trial grounds at the Esplanade, P.N., were both won by roses introduced by Mr P. Gardner, Levin, from stock hybridised by the well known Irish rose grower, Mr Sam McGredy. Sat. Nov. 28, 1970.
