Penciled on back – 1936 – 1977 Bruce Stewart’s house about 1938 as it looked during at the time his father took it over from the McDonald’s. About 1936 they purchased the house & 100 acres of what the McDonald’s used as a horse paddock. Later they increased their holdings. Only trees were cherry plums at rear & macrocarpas out front.
