15 Balloons rise smoothly up above St Josephs' School

The Mass Ascension and musical art spectacle was conducted from St Josephs' School field just after 8am.

Chris is here along with Arts Foundation Laureate Phil Dadson to create and document Phil Dadson's musical spectacular in which at least 15 hot air balloons will carry a musician and his instrument.

A keen photographer and videographer. I have recently begun an aerial photography and video business.

I have created several videos and most can be viewed on my YouTube channel.

Some are aerial imagery only and others are a combination of ground based camera work too.


Another one of my passions is woodworking. I enjoy restoring furniture or creating something useful with native timbers.

I also build and host websites including my personal site TrevorHeathPhotography.co.nz and SmithAutos.co.nz.

I am happy to help with charitable projects where possible. I have donated several images to non-profit organisations for use on their website home pages including the Kapiti Island image below.

Many images on the Te Takere website were taken by myself.

Another great year with perfect weather conditions throughout the 5 days.
