Those in this photograph are from left to right: – Mrs Young, Jessie Clayton, Mavis Johnson, Mrs Murray, Patty Caldwell (one of the Queen Carnival “princesses” – who was crowned Queen of the Carnival), Myrtle Peterson and Mrs Caldwell. The Queen Carnival was held to raise funds for swimming pool at Shannon School.
