Foxton Methodist Church picnic at Long Reach, Whirokino, on the Manawatu River. A group of picnicers poses on board the steamer “Planet” by which they had travelled to Whirokino.

Inscription on reverse reads: “Methodist Parsonage 18 Robinson Street, Foxton”
Methodist parsonage at 18 Robinson Street c. 1960. The weatherboard house with an iron roof has sash windows and the front door opens from a verandah which runs across the front of the house.
