Commemoration Service for Edward VII, 1910

Written with black ballpoint pen, bottom of photo – 102 12

Typed on piece of paper glued to back: “5. A civic occasion in the square, Levin. Probably [crossed out with blue ballpoint pen] services for the death of King Edward VII 1910, or else the coronation of King George V 1911. Boys training farm cadets in row near bottom of photograph.”

Commemoration, death of Edward VII, 1910. Taken from opposite the Post Office in Oxford Street looking east, a large crowd hold sheets of paper, possibly song sheets for singing during the service.
