The Levin Post Office on the south eastern corner of the intersection of Oxford Street and Queen Street. Taken looking north-east this photograph a telephone box is outside thew main building as is a bike-stand. Commercial premises in Queen Street are also shown.

Businesses on the western side of Oxford Street, Levin, c.1900. The first to the left is W. Jamieson who was a cabinetmaker and upholsterer. This shop was situated where Noel Leeming is situated today (2001). All the businesses north to the Levin Hotel at the Oxford Street, Queen Street intersection are shown. The plane trees in Oxford Street, planted in 1897, appear very young in this photograph.
