Bryce Preston served an electrical apprentice-ship with Conaglen Electrical and was one of the top apprentice that year Bryce used to go with his father on the vegatable truck to wellington in the early hours of the morning, got off at Paraparaumu, and ride his bicycle back to Levin, in time to start work at 8am he did this quite often
