Foxton Brass Band marching in Main Street, Foxton c.1900. It is thought that the occasion was a parade to celebrate the relief of Mafeking. The building to the extreme left is the Post Office Hotel. The building beside the hotel is the residence of the Collins family.

Queen Carnival Parade of 1915 in Main Street, Foxton moving north. A brass band is leading the parade and is passing the Police Station. A squad of cadets with rifles on their shoulders follows behind the band. Bertha Gower was Queen of the Carnival
