Once again the weather was perfect - this time for the Hares (i.e. balloons) chasing the Hound (the vegetables.co.nz balloon).

Another fine almost completely windless day in the Horowhenua providing perfect balloon flying conditions - pity about the sore neck from looking skywards for so long.

Easter Saturday dawned still with some cloud - excellent balloon flying weather according to the local radio.

Friday, 6 April 2007. Levin had wonderful balloon flying weather with balloons taking off early morning, and again in the late afternoon.

On Thursday 5 April 2007 at 5pm the 2007 Levin Balloon Fiesta lifted off with the Off the Wall Humpty Dumpty balloon being inflated on the Village Green.

A keen photographer and videographer. I have recently begun an aerial photography and video business.

I have created several videos and most can be viewed on my YouTube channel.

Some are aerial imagery only and others are a combination of ground based camera work too.


Another one of my passions is woodworking. I enjoy restoring furniture or creating something useful with native timbers.

I also build and host websites including my personal site TrevorHeathPhotography.co.nz and SmithAutos.co.nz.

I am happy to help with charitable projects where possible. I have donated several images to non-profit organisations for use on their website home pages including the Kapiti Island image below.
