A photograph of a painting by J P Morton of Foxton from beside Duncan House looking back towards Port of Foxton. A heavily laden boat is on the Manawatu River, and the Tararua Ranges are in the background. In the centre of the picture some ships are tied up at the Foxton wharf.

Group of local Maori and Hamaria canoe, Lake Horowhenua. Taken from the eastern shore looking westwards. To the left are two unidentified Maori women with short hair, one of whom is holding a baby in a striped blanket. The Hamaria canoe is parallel to the shore with two unidentified males, four unidentified youths and a black dog aboard. There are two other boats in the water, and one boat behind the two women.
