Tree planting at the historical site of 'Pou Te Mou'
Tree planting took place at a historical site on the western side of Lake Horowhenua, the area called Pou Te Mou.

24/7/2011 A planting day for native trees
was set aside at the juncture between
the lake and the stream. The day was
planned around Tamariki connecting to
Papatuanuku, kaitiakitanga and Karakia. In this picture, 'Vince Tahiwi-Macmilan'
is pictured planting his first native Kahikitea tree with 'Kaumatua Marakopa Wiremu Matakatea'
