(5) I hope Marion had a good time at Plimmerton. Marion says I must not bring home one of those girls from London. well I don’t know about a London girl, but don’t be surprised if I land home with an English tart. There are some very fine girls over here and also some hard cases. I have a good friend somewhere in England. I have my doubts about N.Z. girls being the best. So you are out to work again, well I wish you were over here. I have a button off my trouseres and the other night I had to put a patch in the leg of one, to say nothing of other repairs I had to do.
