Hokowhetu

Horomona Paro said I am one of the claimants to Hokowhetu - there is still great confusion amongst us in respect to it

Heri Te Panau said Horomona has a claim - and the persons outside have not arranged that the proposal grantees should represent their interest

Peeti Te Aweawe said - 10 oclock to day was arranged as the time when we should be prepared with the names to be put in the Grant We are still disagreed and I would ask that we be allowed further time

Hoani Meihana said - with respect to the piece or portion of Hokowhitu in which I claim there is no dispute

Huru Te Hearo said I have list of grantees which I have agreed should be recognised by the Court - the claim has now been two days before the Court and we are not yet decided - list of names handed in for the Northern portion - Hokowhitu No. 1

Horomona Paro said that in the time of Heraw.......... a subdivision of this land was made - the division was into many small pieces - I do not know whether my name is in any of the lists of Grantees for the divisions now proposed

The Court said that it would be better for those interested to agree among themselves as to the names to be inserted in the several Grants for this land
