- Description
20 June 1917. Dear Marion, How are you all getting along. I am now in Cape Town, this is a very nice place but one does not get much time to have a look around. I went to the Museum this afternoon and a lovely place it is too. The gardens here are very nice and the town itself is not bad, there are some nice buildings. We were in Durban four days, so we had a nice stay there. There are not so many niggers here and no rickashaws, but there are a lot more white people, and the girls are hard doers. I am quite well. Wilf. P.S. I hope you got the feather.
