Carpenters from Foxton employed by Fletcher Construction Co Wellington to build state houses in Foxton from1948. This photograph is mounted and those appearing have signed the mounting. Those identified in the photograph are:- Back row, far right Jim Hourigan. Middle row, second from left Trevor Spittall and second from right, Hec Mingins. Third row, far right, W G (George) Edlin. Front row, far left, Ray Merriman and beside him Ray Cresswell.
