Bonded Felts Plant at Foxton.The photograph is attached to a 6” x 8” piece of white paper which has the following inscription: “BONDED FELTS PLANT AT FOXTON. Flax was once the main industry at Foxton. Now the flax fields have been replaced by the Moutoa Land Settlement Scheme and industry has diversified. Computer technology is used to create designs on Stevens – Bremner carpet; rope is recycled at Bonded Felts; Eltar Electronic Distress Beacons are exported; Foxton Fizz and Foxton Fries produced; Sandy Lodge chickens produced and enterprise flourishes. Rangeview Goats Milk and Sunnyvale Honey are trademarks form Foxton.”
