Description: Letter penciled on back - It was a 26 hour journey to Jerusalem & on the train was a canteen & of course we had to get that holiday spirit. I thought my whiskers might go over pretty good in the land of the Jews & Jewesses. But to ask a barber to give me a small shave was too much so had them off.
