Kete Horowhenua2020-03-23T16:51:11+00:00On Thursday 25 September 2008 the old Levin Courthouse was loaded on to a truck and moved to its new site in the Rose Garden.
Date | September 2008 |
It was quite interesting to see how small the old Levin Courthouse looked nestled in the Bath Street Rose Garden.
On 9 October 2008, the building at the rear of the courthouse was loaded on the back of a truck ready for its move:
History of the Levin Courthouse
The Courthouse was built in 1903 on the corner of Bristol and Stanley Streets, Levin.
This photo taken in approximately 1920 shows two local children, Eileen and Arnold (aged 11) Bagrie, posed by the gate.
