Fire at Shannon

Two Shops Destroyed

As a result of a fire at Shannon early on Sunday morning, two shops occupied by Mr. S. A. Roach, baker, and Hiug Lee, fruiterer, respectively, were destroyed, and much damage was also done to an adjoining shop occupied by Mr. 11. Hook, tobacconist. The fire started in the living-rooms at the rear of: Huig Lee's premises. The insurances available are: Roach's building, £500; contents, £125; Huig Lee's stock, £200.
