Description

The Vickers brought a 13ha property in 1979 with just enough for a deposit, Ian was working as a stock buyer and the couple owned a small unit at Brixton. The property was covered in ragwort so they planted trees.

Photo 1 Tree Hugger - Ian Vickers embraces a blackwood tree he planted 19 years ago... Its great to hug a tree, they are such little wee fellows when you put them in.

Photo 2 Bush Ride - Ian & Dee Vickers with Pete the plain-eyed heading dog... We get a thrill out of seeing things grow and enjoying the environment.
