Printed on notice - TOHEROA It is unlawful to - 1. Take Toheroa except between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. during August and September. 2. Use an implement of any kind to locate or take Toheroa. 3. Take or possess Toheroa less than 3 inches in length. Such Toheroa if undamaged, must be reburied BELOW high tide mark, or if damaged, buried ABOVE high tide mark. 4. Take or possess more than 20 Toheroa in any one day, and to open Toheroa below high tide mark. 5. Have on board a conveyance more than 100 Toheroa or, if fewer than five persons aged five years or more are aboard, more than 20 Toheroa for each person. NOTE: No quota is allowed any child under five years of age. G.L. O’Halloran Secretary for Marine.
