Pic ‘n’ Post is a new team game

It’s not quite a treasure hunt
It’s not quite a photo competition
It’s not quite like anything you’ve played before - But it's fun!

• First you need to solve some cryptic clues to identify places and objects in and around Levin

For example:

He works all day and works all night, unceasingly he hoes
He’s encased in shining metal, though he’s dressed in gardening clothes

• Then take a digital photograph of your team’s mascot at each location or with each object

and here is Shrek, our mascot in the garden with our bronze statue.....

• Then put your photographs on the Kete Horowhenua web site

To do this go to the bottom of this entry for Pic n Post and add your photo gallery and any comments

as a Related topic

That way all individual entries will be linked to this topic and will be easy for us to find for the final judging.

• And finally come to the Levin Library at 4 pm on Sunday March 16 to see if your team is one of the prize winners

There are no limits on age or the number of people in each team and we’ll show you how to load your presentation on to the web site if necessary.

You’ll need to give your team name, contact details and a photo of your team mascot that will feature in each photograph.

Your presentation will need to be posted on the web site by noon on Saturday March 15.

Teams will be judged on the number of clues they solve, the imagination shown in the photography and the quality of the web presentation.

So get a team together now, get a mascot (your carnivorous plant, a garden gnome,- it's your choice) and head down to the library to register.
