Dance pencils

Pencils were used at balls with ladies’ programmes. These were used at the Royal MIlitary Academy, Woolwich, England at the 1930 Academy Ball.
A bunch of 6 brick coloured and 11 blue, dance pencils used with dance programmes. Each pencil has a metal end attached to a silk cord. The cords are knotted together into a bunch.
