The house was listed for sale in October 2014 with the following description:

• The house is a classic mid century home designed by notable modernist Wellington Architect Maurice Patience in 1955. It has recently undergone upgrades and additions sensitively designed by local AWARD WINNING Architectural Designer Brynn McCauley.
