Description

The Journey of Te Arataki Manu Korero Ki Muaupoko, has turned out to be Huge, there are many things pertainning to our Iwi we have been gifted to learn, learning from our Kaumatua and Kuia, learning from the opening up of Farmlands so we may walk where our Tupuna walked. The Time given by our Kuia Nanny Noa, to be able to record her Childhood days, her time around the lake, her time fishing, planting and being a child amongest many of our Tupuna. To know and understand our Waka, Kurahaupo, to learn of our Tupuna sailing here too Aotearoa, to know who the whanau on board were, and to learn of their Navigational tools used. To learn Whakapapa from the G'2s? - to learn from old court documents. To learn of our Waiata, to understand why and when our Waiata was used so many years ago. The information gathering from all hapu within in ONE IWI, and to accumulate for the enrichment of One Iwi, Muaupoko.

This has been one years experience that will never be forgotten, that has been caputured in Photos, caputered on Recordings, caputered by our People on the Te Arataki Manu Korero Ki Muaupoko Journey.
