Painted postcard with ‘Greetings from France’ depicts a soldier and a young lady. On reverse of card is the following message. ‘Dear Agnes, I believe we are going up the line shortly so it rumors about the camp. i have had a decent spell at the base and hope this leaves you in the best of health as it leaves me at present if it was a lovely as it looks it would be all right. Good bye dear for the present. Yours for ever Martin (M Actin?)
