Video

Its really easy to upload video footage. I first made a shortvideo using my digital camera. I then imported it into Windows Movie Maker (I'm running Vista). I added a short audio clip I cropped out of a downloaded MP3 (using Audacity) and downloaded an audio sound effect found using Google. I had to convert the file to an API file using STOIK and then uploaded it into Kete. Click here to view.

Repurposed Content

I also made 5 images from original content found in from Kete and 'repurposed' it to create other, original works. This was fiddly, but easily achieved using Arcsoft photo editor and paint - and Word to make the speech bubbles.

Linked Content

We also made extensive use of "link image" and inserting hot links in the description fields to make the relationships between the original content and the derivative content. Inserting links is easily done using the text editor in the description field. Select you text that will be the hotlink then click on the 'link' icon on the toolbar, to the left of the tree icon. Then type, or paste, the destination url into the pop up box that appears. This will be the url for another page in Kete.
