The Merle & Alex Gregory are not preachers of the fundamentalist conservation kind. They are just a couple of people who would like to leave New Zealand in slightly better shape than they found it and encourage other to do the same - and to make a living.

Merle was a nurse from Taihape & Alex a butcher by trade, he joined the police, became one of the country's first dog handlers, then translated his love of the great outdoors into helping to pioneer helicopter deer recovery in the North Island.
