Rosalie has more than 40 years experience as a potter. She is able to teach all the main techniques. She spent some five years potting for a living back in the seventies when hand thrown domestic ware was everyone's first choice. More recently she has moved to abstract slab forms, although the leisurely technique of coiling remains a favourite. She has, for most of her pottery life, used the ecologically-kind technique of once-firing. Glazes are applied to leatherhard pots. omitting the common bisque step, with a substantial saving on the energy required to produce a pot.
