Phoebe on Panatawaewae Ridge
Object type:Image
- Description
Our dog absolutely loved the walk to Panatawaewae Ridge. She couldn't believe her luck: soft underfoot, lots of mini-streams to slosh in, shelter from the sun, humans to herd and scroggin at the top!
We took our labrador-cross on the Panatawaewae walk with us and she loved it, although I did have to put her on the lead a few times. The walk is along a cutting running along the side of a ridge. It drops down to a big gorge below - with a twinkling river.... Those of you who know labs will know they are water dogs and this silly dog thought several times of just popping down to the river for a quick dip mid-walk. Ah .. No, hence the lead.
