Penciled on back - Joining of the first of the 4-inch pipes which will bring natural gas from Hokio Beach Rd. into the gasworks for further distribution in Levin are welder Mr I.F. Hunter (at left) and works foreman Mr L.B. Hooper. Sat. Aug. 16, ‘69.

Stamped on back with black ink - Horowhenua Historical Society. Acc. No. 137 Date.
