Written on back with black ballpoint pen – Evans Bay, late 1950s, from Adkin House in Evans Bay Parade.

See book – An eye for country, the life and work of Leslie Adkin – photo on pages 206-207, on page 208 is written: “Directly in front of the house a mooring mast was sunk, and soon Solent flying-boats splashed down outside the study window.”
