Peeti Te Aweawe – called – letter from Hemi Wairua read applying for an adjournment of this claim on account of his illness he being counter claimant.

Plan produced.

Peeti said that in all probability the counter claimant could be present on Friday next and he had no objection to it being adjourned until then.

Letter from Hakaraia Te Whera and others applying for the adjournment of this claim read

Court announced that a telegram had just been received stating Judge Smith would be here today or tomorrow and that it was desirable that of the parties were present the claims commenced at Foxton should be completed first and that afterwards Kukutauaki and Kapiti would be called on.

Wi Parata applied for the adjournment of the court until tomorrow because of the non arrival of many of the people in consequence of the very heavy rains and to permit of the settling of those already come.

Court adjourned until 10 am tomorrow.
