I am researching my grandfathers family history. His mother was Rose Alice Barnes and her parents were George & Edith Mary Barnes (nee Simpson). George and Edith had 5 children Rose, Herbert, Leonard, Alfred and George. George jnr was born in 1900. In 1901 Edith Barnes remarried to Percival Penley Drake. Edith and Percival went on to have 5 children percy, Harvey, Ethel, Lawerence & Edith. I do not know what happened to George snr. I dont know whether him and Edith divorced or George died.
If anyone has any information that could help me anything would be much appreciated.
