Cabbage tree in flower at edge of bush, Shannon 1 B&W stereoview [mounted twin photographic prints]

Short poem by Lilian Russell, written on the back - Once there lived a sooty man, who was a chimney sweep. He used to make the chimneys clean, when we were all asleep. He died one day and then they put, his body in the ground. They stuffed his brush above his grave, and smoothed the earth all round. At first the brush looked dry and black, but soon it turned quite green. And when the people went to look, a cabbage tree was seen.
