Te Kokiri gained Supreme Award at the Horowhenua Kapiti Maori Business Awards 2008
Te Kokiri gained top prize at the bi-annual horowhenu kapiti te ropu pakihi maori business awards 2008.
Approximately 200 people attended the awards gala dinner, held at the otaki memorial hall friday 18 April.
Tariana Turia presented Te Kokiri with the Supreme Rangatira Award, in recognition of its excellent business practices and successful integration of traditional maori values.
Alongside the Rangatira Award Te Kokiri won the Manaakitanga category (customer service and products) for big business, the Kotahitanga category (operations, quality and technology) for big business and the Kaitiakitanga category (financial management and sustainability) for big business.
Supported on the evening by 23 staff, kuia and students - a wonderful achievement for 19 years of service to the community.
