Topic: Getting Video on to Kete

Help! - Any ideas about the best way to get video from DVDs on to Kete?

I have been experimenting with a DVD of the last steam train trip at Foxton - see the video links below this topic.

To date I have downloaded several free DVD ripper programs and ripped several short cuts. I have saved them as MPGs and loaded one on to Kete.

BUT I do not have an editor for MPG files - so loaded it into Windows Movie Maker, trimmed the clip and eaported as a WMV file.

Am I going about this the right way - OR (please!!!) does someone out there know a better way?

Also Kete does not have streaming video - so large files mean a long wait to download on slower internet ...

Long term our challenge is to get lots of DVD footage we have been given on to Kete.
