Morning – 7am: BUMP THE BLIMP – taking off from sites so balloons head for Lake Horowhenua. A helium filled weather balloon on a 50m tether – attached will be small balloons for retrieving as they fly by. Scored by colour and highest number decides winner.
Early afternoon to dusk – BALLOON NIGHT GLOW – Horowhenua Events Showgrounds, Victoria Street Gates open 3pm (Adults $8, Kids $5, Families $20 (2 adults + up to 4 kids) Balloon glow will commence at dusk, including balloons with light effects to music – people need to be there by 6pm, Includes food and craft stalls, displays of gliders, hotrods, bikes, cars, various attractions, and music – a great family event. There will also be remote control aircraft displays at Donnelly Park in the afternoon.Add
