Written on back with blue ballpoint pen: “Her house now facing No 2 Karaka Crescent, somewhat altered.”

Stamped on back with black ink – Horowhenua Historical Society. Acc. No. Date

Miss Bowen’s house, Karaka Crescent, Levin, from the south. This weatherboard house with an iron roof has two brick chimneys and a verandah which runs along the southern and western sides. A false turret is attached to the verandah. The house was built in 1905.
