Used in book – “From Bush & Swamp”, page 98, with caption - Hanks of fibre hanging on drainage poles, after passing through the stripping and washing machines. Each hank represents the fibre from about 15 leaves and was left to dry on the poles for a few hours before being carted to the paddocks for bleaching in the sun.
