This report of the meeting was published in the Manawatu Herald on 25 February 1892 - obtained from PapersPast, National Library of New Zealand.

Application is to be made to Government, to place the Levin Cemetery in charge of the Council.

It was decided to request the Manawatu County Council to call for tenders for the purchase of the old Shannon punt; tenders to be submitted to the Horowhenua County Council before being finally accepted.

The local police constable was empowered to destroy all unregistered dogs in the County.

The offer of Manawatu County Council to pay £115 6s 4d full settle­ment of all claims for compensation for fencing and land on Mill road was accepted.

The travelling expenses of Council­lors were fixed at 1s per mile for five miles and 6d for every subsequent mile.

Resolved, That the services of the County ganger being no longer required in the Otaki riding, no part of his wages be charged against that riding for the future, unless he be specially instructed by the Chairman or Councillors to perform any duty in the Otaki riding.

The sum of £2 6s per month was granted to the County ganger as travelling expenses.

The following tenders were ac­cepted:-
Contract M, 1McKay, £47; contract N, S. McMillan, £117; contract O. T. Young, £104 2s; contract P, J. T. Wells, £54 35s; contract R, J. Mullins, £44; contract Q. McMillan, £117 8s. The tender of William Warn was accepted for furnishing pauper funerals, and the tender of C. M. Richards for fencing 14 chains on County road at 22s 6d per chain was also accepted. The time for receiving tenders for timber was extended till next meeting of the Council.
