Murrayfield is home to a wonderful collection of pioneer memorabilia. The museum grew from a passion of the Doreen family for collecting objects and information about rural life of Levin and Districts.
In 2004 the collection was relocated to Murrayfields in association with Murray Doreen's development of his Clydesdale horse interest.
The museun is arranged so that you can easily identify aspects of life in earlier times.
This collection has now been catalogued and housed, and the museum is open for inspection.
