Inscription on reverse reads: ” Miss Bowen’s house. Donated Mr Joyce 3/77 No 2 Karaka Cres, Levin see also Miss H E Bowen Built late 1905 for TAB Hudson.”
Miss Bowen’s house at 2 Karaka Crescent Levin. This weatherboard house with an iron roof has two brick chimneys and a verandah on two sides. A false turret is attached to the verandah. This house was built in 1905.
