For three months from the 18th April, 2010, Wendy Hodder, a locally acclaimed professional artist and illustrator of children's books -most notable for the 'Grandpa's Slippers' picture book series - exhibited a range of her work inside the Shannon library of the Horowhenua district. As one of four local artists chosen per year, Hodder's exhibition 'Flow River Flow', brought a stunning series of Te Reo driven images of the sea, earth, river and sky in a narration of the Te Reo creation of the world to the public library
